Ha, with luck and the good graces of the admissions board, I'll be in the second semester of my masters program by then! In any case, I'm most likely going to still be in Tampa. At present, my understanding of racial inequalities and healthcare arises from my living in an impoverished neighborhood in Tampa; I have not done any academic study on the subject. I'm more into food security than healthcare, although the two intersect in countless ways.

I know easily a half dozen people who have done considerable research on inequalities in health care access here in Tampa. I could put you in contact with some people from USF Anthro. Do you have an email address?

By the way, wonderful photos! My roommate spent a few weeks in Brazil a few years ago, and I'm utterly enchanted by his stories of his travels there.
