Nice meeting you all.
I'm a social anthropology PhD student and at the writing-up stage. Much of my research so far has had a focus on what health practitioners need to learn to more appropriately engage with their patients. The needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender patients have been my focus.
Searching around at the moment to see what work is around that relates to designing curricula for health students (med students, nursing, psychology, etc).
I'm curious whether anyone has had any experience, or has any tips, about how to get work in professional development training health practitioners, or curriculum design for health students?
I'm wondering what extra lines I may need to put on my resume, and also how/where people get such jobs. Not a health practitioner myself unfortunately.
Looking forward to being on the forums,
